Impaired passenger on split-route train refuses to correct entitled family, who demands passenger give up priority seat so they can sit together, then watches family realize they’re in the wrong section, missing train to airport: 'Malicious delight'

There is a time to be loud and there is a time to be silent. Sometimes it depends on others, and other times it depends on ourselves. There will be situations in life that make us want to scream from the rooftops, both in anger or in joy, but when someone else is taking up all the airspace with their loud and obnoxious attitude, sometimes it is best to remain silent, removing yourself from the situation and watching their entitlement unfold before them…This physically impaired passenger is well aware of the split-route train and how the route divides based on which section of the train passengers are sitting in, and when people around them are confused, they are always willing to lend a helping hand, explaining the complexities of the system to them. 

But not on this day, the day an entitled family waddled onto the train as if they owned it, demanding the impaired passenger move seats so they could sit together alongside their excessive amounts of baggage. (clearly on the way to the airport) The passenger remained quiet, following their demand, but one thing they did know was that the family sat in the wrong section and would ultimately miss their flight if they did not switch soon…However, that day, the passenger decided to let the family's loudness win, refraining from warning and remaining silent as they missed their stop…

If the passenger had been met with acknowledgment and politeness, there’s no doubt they would’ve warned the family about the correct routes of the train. But instead, they chose entitlement, a characteristic that rarely gets anyone to their intended place.

    Okay so, interesting thing happened to me today. The local train is set up in a way, that it goes as a full train for 90% of the line, then splits into two trains in the end, one going to the suburbs and one going to the airport.

    I have a bit of a limp on right leg so I'm pretty slow and usually sit in the disabled seat, makes it easier for me to get to get in and out of the train.

    Queue the entitled family. Now today, big family, all with suitcases entered (Mom, Dad, 2 Kids and Grandma) the train and started arguing about if the train goes to the airport or not, with Mom being very sure it goes to the airport, and they are all wrong.

    Looking for seats, they are coming over towards me, I was pretty much sitting alone. Mom coming up to me and telling me that I should get up and make room for them, telling me I was sitting in a family part and should not be sitting there.

    I was staying quiet towards them, moving a couple seats over and watching with somewhat malicious delight as they realized they were in the wrong part of the train and missed the last station to switch over.
